Since I was young, I knew I had an interest in computers. Throughout school, I realized I wanted a career that involved working with computers, so I did some research and learned about software engineering and the processes involved. Naturally, that led me to computer science. I chose this internship because I wanted to test my abilities and learn things outside the classroom. In class, you are in a controlled environment where all of the variables are set, and you are given one task with an expected output. In the real world, this is not the case. There are so many unforeseen factors that come about in the workplace. I also wanted a job that would give me some leverage in future interviews and show prospective employers what I am capable of doing. Outside of school, I like to weightlift.
