When choosing my major, I knew I wanted to go into some kind of design. After looking at Clemson’s graphic communications department, I thought to myself, “I want to know how to do all of that.” Being a graphic communication major, we not only learn about design, but also the different printing techniques. Campus Banner + Design gives me the opportunity to not only create designs but to also print my own projects. Not many internships give you the best of both worlds, but I felt as if Campus Banner + Design does. Outside of school, I’m on the Club Softball team here at Clemson, so a majority of my time is spent at the softball field. If I’m not at the softball field, you can probably catch me hiking somewhere upstate.
1. To end up with a better understanding of how a real business works.
2. To create projects, receive feedback and work to improve my skills from that.
3. To broaden my design and print skill level as much as possible before I enter into my junior year.
