Margaret Taylor

Writing Intern

  • Simpsonville, S.C.
  • Modern Languages

I chose my major because I believe learning new languages provides unique insight into different cultures and opens the door to cross-cultural communication. I am currently focusing on Japanese, but I have studied American Sign Language and hope to become fluent in many other languages in the future. I also have a passion for English, and my goal is to be able to communicate meaningfully with people from all around the world. I chose this internship primarily because of my love for writing and editing, but I also wanted to work in an environment that would challenge me to strengthen my communication skills. When I am not working or studying, I enjoy hiking, photography, swimming, cooking, playing video games, reading and writing.

I have three goals while working at Campus Banner + Design:

  1. To improve as a communicator and assist others in developing strategic communication plans.
  2. To further my understanding of AP style and the Adobe® Creative Suite.
  3. To grow as a leader by facilitating a supportive team environment.
