Growing up, I’ve always loved art and spending my time painting and drawing. I also spent some of my time helping my dad work on logos and the creative aspects of his business. When deciding on a major I knew I wanted to combine my creativity and art experience with my interest in the business world, and marketing seemed like the perfect choice. I chose this internship because I have designed a lot of logos and flyers for my classes and other opportunities and have really loved working in Photoshop and Illustrator. I have realized I am very interested in graphic design and have been able to use my artistic talents on digital platforms as well, and this internship seemed like exactly the kind of work I am interested in doing. Outside of school, I like to paint and draw occasionally. I am also on the club rowing team here at Clemson, so I spend a lot of time working out with the team and on my own.
1. To gain real-world experience in making designs for actual clients.
2. To create graphics that will be shared with a large audience.
3. To get to see my work around campus and as actual company or club logos.
