Since elementary school, I have had a calling to go into education to be a teacher. In high school, I took agriculture classes and fell in love with the agricultural education program, so I decided to come to Clemson to major in agricultural education. I want to get certified to teach agriculture at both the middle and high school level, so I can teach future generations about this area of education and about where their food comes from. I decided on this internship because I want to explore the world of communications since I am thinking about attending graduate school to study agricultural communications. This internship will give me some experience in the world of communication and hopefully help me decide if I want to continue taking this route after graduation. Outside of school, I love to shop, travel, play golf, go hiking, play guitar, and attend agricultural-related conferences for professional development and to learn more about the agricultural industry.
