Charlotte Higgins

Photography Intern

  • Clemson, South Carolina
  • Graphic Communications

I chose to major in graphic communications because I participated in the production of my high school’s yearbook for three years. I really enjoyed the creativity the class offered, and I thought I should try something that would be along those lines going into college. My major ended up being a great fit for me. I chose this internship in 2016 because I needed a part-time job, and I wanted my work to relate to my major and provide me with real-time, useful work experience. This is my third semester as a UPIC intern for SA Pubs and CB+D. I wish I had discovered my internship sooner! Outside of school, I like to take photos, do design work, go outdoors, travel and read.

I have three goals while working at Campus Banner + Design:

  1. To build a strong photography portfolio.
  2. To help enhance my position by making it easier to hand down to the next intern.
  3. To improve my skills in all Adobe® products.
