Growing up, I always thought I wanted to go into engineering. This changed once I took several different art courses in high school, where I discovered my love for creating. I then became torn between going into art education or architecture. In the end, I decided to continue my education at Clemson as an architecture major, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. Now I know I want to pursue a career that allows me to share my love of design with others. I chose this internship because about four years ago I enrolled in a photography course at my high school where I discovered my love for photography. Ever since, I have tried to push myself as a photographer and believe this internship will help me do exactly that. Outside of school, I enjoy creating art — especially drawing, painting and photography. I also enjoy dancing, which I have been doing since the age of 3 and competitively since fourth grade. I am also involved in both Clemson’s photography club and am a member of The American Institute of Architecture Students.
